MUMBAI: The Shiv Sena, while targeting the state BJP, asked why those were raising questions over the Jogeshwari Mahakali caves land were not asking the Centre about “encroachment” by the Chinese army on Indian land on the Ladakh border.
After the state said it wanted to develop Mahakali caves in Jogeshwari, the BJP had alleged that the Sena was trying to hand over the land to private developers.
Referring to these allegations, the Sena mouthpiece Saamna in its editorial on Monday stated that “BJP’s mind and heart is filled with developers.” “So they see developers in every other decision taken by the state. Just to blackmail and to run a campaign maligning the government’s image is not the only duty of leader of opposition,” Saamna stated.
Saamna said that the BJP should clarify if China had encroached on Indian land.
