Exclusive: Salim Khan confirms that Arbaaz, Sohail and Nirvaan Khan are under quarantine – Times of India
According to the complainant, the trio returned to the city on December 25 and were asked to remain in quarantine in a hotel. However, the trio went home instead. Sohail reportedly told officials that they had all tested negative for COVID-19, which is why they decided to go home directly. Following the incident, the BMC and police officials reportedly took action and sent all three to institutional quarantine at a five-star hotel near their home in Bandra.
When contacted, the Khan family patriarch Salim Khan confirmed the news and told Bombay Times, “I don’t have much details, all I know is that they are under quarantine at the hotel at the moment.”
The ministry’s norm suggests a seven-day institutional quarantine to returnees from the UK, UAE and Europe. The state government put the norms in place after a new strain of coronavirus was reported in the UK.
